Bringing our feedback philosophy to life with AI
Summary
A design report explains why unreliable generated questions were replaced with human-written sets.
No More Marking combined teacher audio, AI-produced reports and student exercises. It abandoned automatic generation of highly specific questions because accuracy was insufficient, using human-written sets allocated by score instead.
This exposes an important design trade-off: detailed personalization does not establish actionable feedback. Pupils can use paper, but the report supplies no independent learning comparison.
The company’s own product-design account has a commercial interest and is not a guarantee about current versions.
