I study how the expanding human footprint, from farmland and pastures to cities, reshapes where wildlife can live, and how to reconstruct those changes from global open data, Earth observation and carefully validated AI. The Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and its snow leopards, where I worked for over a decade, remain my long-term test system.
