Teaching

ENV101 · Geographical Information Systems

An introduction to geographic information systems and spatial thinking for environmental science: working with spatial data, asking geographical questions, and communicating evidence through maps and analysis.

ENV204 · Remote Sensing of the Environment

Remote sensing principles and image-processing methods applied to environmental questions, spatial ecology, and environmental management. The course moves from image preprocessing and classification to accuracy assessment, multispectral analysis, and the integration of remote-sensing evidence with GIS.

ENV117 · Foundational Research Skills for Environmental Scientists

A practical introduction to how environmental scientists frame questions, find and evaluate evidence, design reproducible research, and use emerging AI methods critically. ENV117 is closely connected to my wider AI4Science work.

Book, course, and skills

The forthcoming book, the course, and the public lj-skills collection are being designed as one learning ecosystem rather than three disconnected products.
